Comprising numerous daily shows, restaurants, and pavilions from a record of nearly 200 participating countries, Expo 2020 Dubai - which was delayed by one year because of the pandemic - is one of the largest fairs ever held and is the first World Expo ever to take place in the Middle East. While the main theme of Expo 2020 Dubai that "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future" was established on the premise that "bringing the world together can catalyze an exchange of new perspectives and inspire action to deliver real-life solutions to real-world challenges," three fundamental yet equally essential principles of Expo 2020 Dubai revolve around sustainability, mobility and opportunity, as the fair was developed and constructed to be thoroughly sustainable by primarily relying on the energy generated by solar panels along with other renewable resources for its sustainable requirements, including the ability to recycle much of its water.
