Race & test used gear ratio from the Williams F1 team.

From the 2010 Williams FW32 cars that were driven by Rubens Barrichello and Nico Hulkenberg.

The gear measures approx 2.5" in diameter (6cm).

It would make a great desk paperweight or conversation piece as you can be sure that very few people will have ever had chance to handle part of a real F1 car.

This gear has an exceptionally highly polished finish, this is achieved via a process known as super finishing and was done to reduced friction inside the cars gearbox.

A critical part such as this, produced to the exacting standards demanded by a modern F1 team would have originally costs 10's of thousands of £'s to design, develop and manufacture, so it is being offered for sale here at a mere fraction of those costs!
