My artistic objective: "Formula One cars have always been designed for their aerodynamic efficiency, not their aesthetic quality. However, the beautifully sculpted carbon-fibre bodywork makes every car a piece of art in their own right. I have always been drawn to the detailed shapes of these amazingly intricate car designs. I love the way the reflections fall upon the curved metal, creating abstract patterns which can partially disguise these otherwise recognisable machines. These physical works of art can often be overpowered by advertising logos, but I try to draw the viewer’s attention away from these aspects and instead to the unique contours and lighting patterns that both defines the bodywork and makes them unique".

Shipping policy

DELIVERY

Please allow 10 working days for delivery to UK. Orders are sent by Royal Mail / DPD Courier service.

International print orders are dispatched by International Airmail Track&Sign, delivery times will depend on where the order is being sent;

Please allow up to 15 days for delivery to Europe and 20 working days for delivery to Rest of World.


PACKAGING

All prints are professionally packaged and sent via a Fine Art Guild supplier, to ensure quality assurance.

  • UK mainland: Each print is wrapped flat in acid free tissue paper, fastened within wooden backboards and covered in protective wrapping. Transported using the DPD Courier Service and a tracking number will be supplied when in transit.
  • UK Isles / Europe / Rest of World: Professionally rolled* by the manufacturer in acid free tissue paper. Protected in an outer card wrapping. Sealed in a strong protective tube and sent by Airmail International Track&Sign to ensure safe delivery.

*Rolling of prints will not damage quality and will flatten easily when artwork is displayed in a frame.

Refund/Exchange policy

In the event that your print is damaged in any way upon receipt, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot be held responsible for any damage to, discrepancies in or shortages of delivered materials unless notified within 24 hours of receipt.

Any claims for damages must be supported by photographic evidence and we reserve the right and may request the return of the damaged article, which we will arrange the collection of. Claims of this nature will be limited to the cost of the order as charged by Alex Stutchbury Art. No actions will be taken by Alex Stutchbury Art without photographic proof or the receipt of the damaged item.

Any items returned to Alex Stutchbury Art will be destroyed after investigation.

If you are eligible for a refund, we will reimburse the price you have paid for the goods by means of your original payment method. Alternatively we may offer to reprint and resend the item free of charge. Please note in this instance replacements will be sent using DPD Courier delivery.

Please note it is not our policy to offer both a refund and a reprint.
